AN EXHIBITION OF STEPHANIE CRAWFORD’S QUILTS

For our 27th major exhibition we have invited Stephanie Crawford to show many of her remarkable pictorial works. Unfortunately, at the time of Stephanie’s exhibition for us, her
beautiful quilt “And then three come along at once . . . ” (on the left) will be touring the eastern states of America with SAQA exhibition. Having been shown first in Florida, it will, at the time of our exhibition, be in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Have look at Stephanie’s gallery on
www.stephaniecrawfordquilter.com.
And make a note of the date of our exhibition - you won’t want to miss it!

The focal points of Jan’s designs and ideas are usually colour and illusion, making the pattern form the three dimensional appearance of the finished piece. Students always leave with an extensive handout, including coloured photos of the quilts, and are usually well on the way to achieving a finished piece.

STRIPS GALORE

Early Warning! This class is still very much in its prototype stage and Claire has spoken to us about many ideas that she intends to explore before deciding on the most suitable options - but she has already spoken about the possibility of scrappy bits; various brim shapes; jelly rolls; layer cakes; raw edges; stitch and flip strips; traditional blocks and more and more. Knowing Claire as we do, this will be a popular class . . .
